MDAC (Microsoft Data Access Components)
Alpha Anywhere is no longer supported on Windows XP or Windows Server 2003.
Description
To use the ADO Import Genie, you must have ADO available. To have ADO available means you must have MDAC installed.
Discussion
If you have problems with MDAC, this link takes you to a Microsoft utility named Component Checker that can repair you MDAC installation. From the Microsoft site:
"Component Checker utility has been upgraded to provide broader support on Windows Platform. The upgraded tool now is able to generate snapshots for MDAC on all supported Service Packs of Windows XP and Windows Server 2003."
