PREVIEW_BROWSE Function
Syntax
C preview_browse(C browse_name [,C filter [,C order [,L modal [,L session_modal [,* options ]]]]])
Arguments
- browse_name
The name of a saved browse. Character
- filter
Optional. Default = ".T." (All records). A character filter expression that evaluates to a logical value and selects records from the table.
- order
Optional. Default = record order. A character order expression that sorts selected records. Character
- modal
Logical. Optional. Default = .F. , .T. (TRUE) = The Print Preview window opens as a modal dialog box. This means that the user must first close the Print Preview window before he can move to another window in Alpha Anywhere. .F. (FALSE) = The user does not have to close the Print Preview window before he can move to another window in Alpha Anywhere.
- session_modal
Logical. Optional. Default = .T. .T. (TRUE) = Any script that calls the PREVIEW_BROWSE() function will pause until the Print Preview window is closed. However, the Print Preview window itself is not a modal dialog box. The user is free to select other windows in Alpha Anywhere. .F. (FALSE) = The script will not pause until the Print Preview is closed.

Description
PREVIEW_BROWSE() creates the selected browse and then displays a preview of the browse.
