OBJECT.QUICKSORTEXPLICIT Function
Syntax
.Quicksortexplicit(c objectname [,c direction ])
Arguments
- objectname
The name of a field in the table or set.
- direction
Optional. Default = "A".
- "A" = Ascending.
- "D" = Descending.
Description
Sorts the table or set and displays it in the current layout.
The <OBJECT>.QUICKSORTEXPLICIT() method applies to:
- Browses (for <OBJECT> use either the <BROWSE> pointer or the name of the browse)
- Forms (for <OBJECT> use either the <FORM> pointer or the name of the form)
The <OBJECT>.QUICKSORTEXPLICIT() method sorts the table or set on the indicated field and then displays it in the current layout.
The following example sorts the Inventory set on the Description field, then displays the Inventory form.
