Grid Component - Checkbox Column - Custom Ajax Callbacks
/pages/Server/Guide/Design/View/Grid/Grid Component/Grid Component Checkbox Column, Custom Ajax Callbacks.xml
When you do a custom Ajax callback, the 'e' object that is passed into your Xbasic function that handles the callback contains a lot of useful information. Now, the 'e' object contains 3 additional properties that are automatically set if the grid has a checkbox column. The properties are:
Fixed column widths
/pages/Guides/Mobile and Web Components/Grid/Grid Properties/Column Titles , Sorting, and Scrolling Options/Fixed column widths.xml
Normally, grid column widths are dynamic; meaning that they can adjust to accommodate the data displayed in the column. You can, however, specify a Fixed column widths property. When you select this option, you can set a default width for all columns that are not explicitly set.
Column Resizing
/pages/Guides/Mobile and Web Components/UX/Controls/Props/Data/List Properties/listprops/List Layout/Column Properties/Column Resizing.xml
You can specify that individual columns in the List can be resized by the user at run-time. To specify that a column can be resized, check the 'Resizable column' property.
CurrentGridFiler Ambiguous Column Name Error
/pages/Troubleshooting/Reports/currentGridFilter Ambiguous Column Name Error.xml
"Ambiguous Column Name Error" occurs when using CurrentGridFilter()
Column Layout Settings (Column Layout)
/pages/Guides/Mobile and Web Components/UX/Controls/Props/other/Form Properties/Form properties/Form Layout/ColumnLayoutContainerProperties/index.xml
Properties for defining the layout of a Column Layout container.
Column Properties
/pages/Guides/Mobile and Web Components/Grid/Grid Fields/Grid Field Properties/Column Properties/index.xml
There are situations where you will want to hide a column or row. This will be true if you are placing the field in a different column or row using a Freeform template. A freeform layout allows to insert any HTML code plus any combination of fields on the grid into a grid column.

Column Span
/pages/Guides/Mobile and Web Components/Grid/Grid Fields/Grid Field Properties/OtherProperties/columnspan.xml
Set the number of columns that the control will span.
Column Properties
/pages/Guides/Desktop/Design/View/Browse/Column Properties.xml
You can set properties that affect the appearance and behavior of individual columns in a browse. These properties include the color, font, and format of the data. Additionally you can set color and font equations, which change the appearance of data depending on conditions you set.
Grid Fields

The Grid Fields page is where you define what fields you will use in your grid, insert special controls, and set properties for individual controls.
