These algorithms are made available for development and testing purposes only. The Alpha Anywhere user accepts full responsibility for obtaining permission/licensing to use any patented algorithms from the appropriate source(s) before deploying any applications.

Encrypts a binary object and returns the binary result. The A5_Encrypt_String() function encodes a character string.
A5_Encrypt_String Function

Encrypts a string and returns the base64 encoded result. The A5_Encrypt_String() function encodes a character string.

This error message can occur when an older version of OpenSSL is running on your computer when Alpha Anywhere is installed. It is only a real problem if Alpha Anywhere will not start after installation. See the Installation issues section of Encryption Algorithms for more information.
