In addition to UX components, grid components are an important part of Alpha Anywhere Web Publishing. They retrieve and display data from a variety of types of databases. They allow the user to search for, edit, insert, and delete records. You create grid components with the Grid Builder.

Customize Grid toolbar template

The Grid has always allowed you to customize the layout of the record navigator, but now, you can customize the entire Grid Toolbar and you can add your own custom buttons to perform actions that you define.

Web Projects Control Panel

A web project contains and organizes the files that you will publish. Alpha Anywhere places these files in a directory structure under the Alpha Anywhere program folder. You may have as many projects as you need, each with a distinctive name. The Web Projects Control Panel provides a view of these projects. Web Browser Window

The Web Browser window allows you to view and interact with an HTML page, but does not include full browser controls. The use of the shell.explorer ActiveX control allows you to select pages to view. Refer to {ACTIVEX} and Display an Xdialog Box for more information. This approach to displaying HTML is similar to the HTML Text Window.
