/pages/Guides/Mobile and Web Components/Grid/Grid Properties/Shading and Dividers/Conditional Style Server-Side.xml
You can use the Conditional style property under the Display Settings section of Field Properties to set conditional styles for individual fields. The conditional expressions can refer to the special fields.
Server-side Group Breaks
/pages/Guides/Mobile and Web Components/UX/Controls/Props/Data/List Properties/listprops/Data Source/Server-side Group Breaks/index.xml
Server-side Group Breaks can be used with different data source types. Group breaks take the form of headers over blocks of data that share something in common. These should not to be confused with titles. Whereas a title is inserted above a block of data, group breaks draw their definition from the data itself. Alpha Anywhere contains a number of properties that help in determining how the group break should be formed from existing data, whether or not it should be used to sort data, and means of changing group break headers. These properties are listed here.
Server Side Processing

Web Applications - Create new .A5W Page with HTML Layout Page Templates
/pages/Server/Guide/Design/View/A5W/Web Applications Create new .A5W Page with HTML Layout Page Templates.xml
When you create a new .a5w page, a new option allows you to base the page on a Layout Template. Layout Templates allow you to create complex multi-column layouts that resize intelligently when the size of the browser window changes. The Layout Templates are based on open-source designs.
Apply security and server-side show/hide expressions client-side
/pages/Guides/Mobile and Web Components/UX/Properties/Optimizations/apply security and server side show hide expressions client side.xml
If you select this option, the component is not re-rendered at run-time to apply security and server-side show/hide expressions. Client-side JavaScript is used to hide controls that should not be visible to the user. This is less secure than applying these calculations server-side because the controls are still included in the component's HTML.

/pages/Desktop/Reference/Design/Email/Email Client Control in Alpha Anywhere.xml

Server side afterQuery event
/pages/Guides/Mobile and Web Components/UX/Controls/Props/Data/List Properties/listprops/Data Source/SQL Data Source/Server side afterQuery event.xml
This server side event is available for List controls that are populated using a SQL data source. The AfterQuery event fires after the List query has been performed. The typical use case for this event is to compute some Javascript to return to the browser. For example, you might want to compute the total for a column in the List and then update some control on the screen.
Server-side beforeQuery event
/pages/Guides/Mobile and Web Components/UX/Controls/Props/Data/List Properties/listprops/Data Source/SQL Data Source/Server side beforeQuery event.xml
This event fires before the query to retrieve the List data is executed.
