Dial Phone Number in Field

Description

The Dial Phone Number in Field action dials a phone number from a field in an open form or browse window using Alpha Anywhere's phone dialer.

Procedure

Make a selection in the Dial phone number stored in which window? field. This field will be grayed out unless this action is based on a Form or Browse. The choices are:
- "Current Form or Browse Window".
- "Another Form or Browse Window".
In the Window Name field select either:
- "Forms"
- "Browses"
Select the form or browse that you wish to use from the list.
In the Object Name field select a text field on the form or browse containing a phone number.
Click Next >.
Optionally modify the comment that describes the action.
Click Finish.
