Set Image File Name in Linked Image Field

Overview

The Set Image File Name in Linked Image Field action specifies the image filename for a linked image field.

Procedure

  1. Make a selection in the Set the filename for an Image File Reference filed in which window? field. This field will be grayed out unless this action is based on a Form or Browse. The choices are:

    • "Current Form or Browse Window".

    • "Another Form or Browse Window".

    • "Forms"

    • "Browses"

  3. Select one of the listed forms or browses.

  4. In the Object Name field select a text field on the form or browse. Click the Value icon to select the field that contains the image file reference.

  5. Optionally, check the Prompt for Image Filename at run-time?

  6. In the Image Filename field type a name, select a file with the browse button, or enter an expression to specify where to get the file.

  7. Click Next >.

  8. Optionally modify the comment that describes the action.

  9. Click Finish.
