Chart Alternate View

Description

You can use an Alternate View to access the Google Charts API.

Using The Google Charts API in Your Applications

The Google Charts api is documented at: http://code.google.com . Google Charts is a free Google service that allows you to generate graphs as images by calling a web service. The example below shows how a call is made to the Google Charts service. The service returns binary data in the form of a PNG image. We then load the PNG data into an internal image with the ui_bitmap_png_load() function and finally display the image on an Xdialog.

po = *url_object("http://chart.apis.google.com/chart?cht=p3&chd=t:60,20,20&chs=500x200&chl=Alpha Anywhere|ASP.Net|PHP")
ui_bitmap_png_load("tmp",po.content)
ui_dlg_box("Google Charts","{image=tmp}")

This code produces this window:
