Arguments
- eobject
An object passed to the event that contains the following properties:
- fieldstring
The field the user double-clicked to put the Detail View into edit mode.
- rowNumbernumber
The row number of the Grid row that fired the event. New record rows have negative row numbers.
Description
Fires when the user tries to switch the Detail View to editable mode. This event is only available if the Detail View is set to 'edit on demand'. If the event returns false, the action is cancelled.
To prevent the user from switching the Detail View to editable mode, the event can return false. For example:
