{dialog.object}login Method

Syntax

{dialog.Object}.login([loginPhase])

Arguments

loginPhasenumber

Pass in 1 to indicate that you are in step one of a login that uses two-factor authentication.

Pass in 2 to indicate that you are in step two of a login that uses two-factor authentication.

This argument is ignored if the integrated login is not configured to use two-factor authentication.

Description

Logs a user in using the UX Component's integrated login.

Discussion

The login() method submits the username and password data from the integrated login controls in a UX Component to the web application server to log a user in. If the integrated login is configured to use two-factor authentication, the login() method handles making the required callbacks to authenticate the user.

This method can only be used in a UX Component configured to use integrated login with the Alpha Anywhere security framework.

//Log user in
{dialog.object}.login();

Limitations

For use in a UX Component using Integrated Login
