Description

An explanation of the screen for editing and testing TPL code associated with the form type, including TPL code that is executed when field values are changed or Action Buttons are pushed, and User-Defined Functions that may be used in TPL expressions and other TPL code.

Discussion

The TransForm Programming Language (TPL) is a means by which a form designer can specify the behavior of a TransForm form as the user fills it in. The TPL Editing and Testing Screen is used to edit and test TPL code associated with the form type, including TPL code that is executed when field values are changed or Action Buttons are pushed, and User-Defined Functions that may be used in TPL expressions and other TPL code.

The TPL Editing and Testing Screen is accessed using the Edit Custom Code button on the Form Type Properties Screen.

To return to the main Form Type designing screen from the TPL Editing and Testing Screen, click the "Save" or "Cancel" button above the left-most section of the screen.

Further documentation about TPL is available in the Reference tab of the right-most section of the screen.

Currently, there is no additional written documentation here about this part of the Designer.
